01 / The idea

An artwork conceived with sound.
A sound system considered as art.

The character of sound.
A form of its own.

Timbre is what gives a sound its character. TIMBREFORM brings that idea into the room through an artwork conceived with an integrated sound system.

The front is part of the interior’s visual story; the sound system is integrated behind or within it. Wood is one starting point, not the boundary of the brand.

Keep the room’s visual rhythm
Make the artwork the focal point, with equipment placement considered from the start.
Think beyond a speaker on a stand
A wall-based piece can reduce the need for a visible speaker cabinet or floor stand. Supporting equipment is planned with the system.
Let the space guide the piece
Choose an artistic direction, then develop the surface, form and sound brief together.

This working example shows the idea beyond a visual concept. The full photograph also shows cabling and a separate bass enclosure; a new project needs its own integration plan. It is not presented as a completed TIMBREFORM client commission or a performance test.

Art print

A composition that carries your point of view.

Landscape, abstract imagery or a commissioned composition becomes the visual starting point. Artwork selection, reproduction rights and the sound-compatible surface are agreed for each project.

Marble-effect print

The visual language of stone, in print.

Marble-inspired veining and tonal contrast create a focal point without presenting the panel as solid stone. Optional backlighting can be explored as part of the design.

03 / Make it yours

Start with a motif.
Make it belong.

A flowing relief, a geometric rhythm or a figurative work. Bring an existing artistic direction, or develop one through a bespoke commission.

Form & proportion
Explore circular, rectangular or project-specific forms around the wall and viewing distance.
Artwork & pattern
Relief, printed composition, calligraphy or a bespoke motif. Artist collaboration and artwork rights are agreed within the brief.
Colour & surface
Coordinate the visual finish with the room’s palette. Marble-effect print is a printed design, not a claim of solid stone construction.
Optional backlighting
Consider how a halo of light could frame the work. Lighting, power and access are included in the technical review.
Sound & integration
Define how the room will be used, then assess the system, mounting, cable routes and supporting equipment.

These are briefing choices, not unlimited production options. Dimensions, materials and features are confirmed in the project proposal.

06 / Practical questions

Artistic freedom.
Considered details.

Is this a sound system or an acoustic treatment panel?

The concept is an artwork with an integrated sound system: it produces sound. It is not presented as a sound-absorbing or soundproofing panel.

Does every piece have to be made from wood?

No. Wood relief is one design direction; printed artwork and marble-effect prints offer others. The marble-effect direction describes a printed appearance, not a solid marble panel. Other materials may be explored, subject to sound, construction and installation requirements.

Can the shape, finish and lighting be customised?

The brief can include circular, rectangular or project-specific forms, a preferred motif, colour palette and optional backlighting. Available dimensions, surface construction and lighting details are confirmed with the technical design, not selected from an unlimited catalogue.

Can I choose an artist or develop a piece for my space?

That is the intention of a bespoke commission. Share your preferred artist, craft tradition or visual direction in the brief. Collaboration, rights, scope and technical feasibility are agreed before a commission proceeds.

Does hidden sound mean a completely wireless system?

No. Keeping equipment visually discreet does not mean eliminating power or audio connections. The wall mounting, cable route, amplification and any separate bass enclosure are planned for the proposed system and room. Concept images are not installation drawings.

What will it cost, and how long will it take?

A quotation and programme follow the agreed artistic and technical scope. There is no standard price or delivery promise on this site. Production, installation, acceptance and aftercare responsibilities should be set out in the project proposal.

Can we arrange a listening session?

Please include a listening request in your brief. The team can discuss available reference pieces and arrangements. Site images are visual references; they cannot demonstrate sound quality or confirm that a local demonstration is available.

Tell us about
your space.

You do not need a finished specification. A location, an intention and a sense of the project are enough to begin. Choose a design direction, or leave it open for discussion.

Your brief is recorded for the TIMBREFORM team to review. This is an enquiry, not an order or a reservation.

Fields marked * are required.

Optional details: budget and phone

By sending, you ask TIMBREFORM to review and respond to your project enquiry. Please do not include sensitive or confidential documents.

How your enquiry is used

Your contact details and project brief are stored in this site’s database for enquiry management. They are not displayed to other visitors or added to a marketing list by this form. The team may use the contact details you provide to discuss your project.

Submission time and a rotating technical network identifier are used to limit repeated requests. Raw network addresses are not saved in the enquiry record. A reference confirms that your brief was recorded; it does not mean an email notification was sent.
